Reasons for our Hope

It’s not easy today to be Catholic. We are rocked by scandal and the sins and weaknesses of our brothers and sisters (and our own too.)

Our faith is ridiculed and scorned by many as anti-modern, irrational, or against science.

We are pressured to live for the moment and indulge all our desires.

Why do we keep going? What keeps us from just walking away?

Why are we Catholic…I mean…what makes us persist despite all the difficulties?

If we can articulate those reasons, it will be a source of hope for all our brothers and sisters who also remain in the Church and persist in a life of faith.
